TORONTO, ON - DECEMBER 7, 2018 - TODAY, Canadian folk trio The O'Pears, comprised of Lydia Persaud, Jill Harris, and Meg Contini, release their sophomore album Stay Warm. Stay Warm was produced by Joshua Van Tassel (Sarah Slean, Megan Bonnell, David Myles) and features a cappella covers of winter classics sprinkled between seven original songs.

"While writing for this album, we explored what a lifetime of winters and holidays has meant to each of us, to capture a more inclusive perspective on such a complex time of year;" shares the band. "The holidays can bring rest, joy, and cheer, but for many it is a time to process loss or grief, to revisit family conflicts, and most holiday music and traditions intensify these feelings. We wanted to include this side of the holidays in our version of a modern holiday album."

The trio kicked off the "Stay Warm" tour last night in Hamilton and will celebrate with a hometown show this Tuesday, December 11th at The Drake Underground in Toronto. All details can be found below and at www.theopears.com
