What's The Story about Lydia Persaud?
Lydia Persaud is a Toronto born & raised soul artist. An alumna of the Humber jazz program and member of the O’Pears & Dwayne Gretzky, she is a skilled vocalist and songwriter. Lydia draws on her jazz chops, the sincere songwriting of Carole King, and the warm soul and social commentary of Stevie Wonder to craft her timeless and instantly infectious sound. The 2013 Oscar Peterson Award winner has been gaining accolades since she burst into the Toronto music community.
