The EP is out TODAY on Darth Jadea Music w/ digital distribution by Tone Tree Music, and features the new songs, "Bad Like Me" (feat. Robby Hecht), "Make Peace With It" (feat. Garrison Starr), a haunting cover of "Amazing Grace", and previously released songs "Beauty" and "Mercy". Songs from the album have been featured on Spotify's "Folk & Friends"; on Apple Music's Singer-Songwriter Hot Track Feature, Americana Feature, Country Music ‘Speakin Easy’, and "Acoustic Chill" playlist; and Amazon's "Fresh Folk & Americana" playlist.
“Met While Incarcerated” is defined as a person who met their partner/spouse after incarceration or criminal offense. It challenges societal stereotypes and our understanding of crime, punishment, good and evil, forgiveness, love, and redemption. “MWI illuminates an uncomfortable social topic but also the lives of real people. Looking past the incarceration charges, I do see genuine love and healing between the featured couples. Very eye-opening,” says Jadea.
